Dividing by a Fraction

To divide by a fraction, multiply by the reciprocal of the fraction.

Example 1:

Divide 4 by 2/7.

4/(2/7) = 4*(7/2)=(4*7)/2 = 28/2 = 14

Example 2:

Divide 2/7 by 2/7.

4/(2/7) = 4*(7/2)=(4*7)/2 = 28/2 = 14
